Additional Anglia API Terms & Conditions

The Terms & Conditions may be modified by us in the future and apply thereafter to any and all future use of Our API by You and/or Your Business.

Introduction

Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before using any services through this site. By accessing, using, registering, or obtaining any Part information, or submitting an Order through this System, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

We recommend you print out a copy of these Terms & Conditions for your future reference.

Definitions

“API” means the application program interface made available by Anglia and accessible at https://api.anglia.com which (subject to the explicit prior approval of Anglia) allows You and/or Your Business to access the Parts Search Engine through direct integration between any CRM, computer software or program utilised by You and/or Your business in order to obtain a quotation for a Part for a Customer, or submit an Order;

"CRM” means any point-of-sale system owned, built and developed by You, Your Business, or any third party which is used by You and/or Your Business to generate quotations for Parts through integration with Anglia’s API;

“Customer” means a customer of You and/or Your Business in relation to whom the Parts are offered or made available;

"Part" means any component or product information obtained by use of the API;

“System” means the API, Anglia Website(s) and Part Search Engine;

“Our”, “We”, “Us” and “Anglia” means Anglia Components Plc registered number 4233823 whose registered office is at Sandall Road, Wisbech, Cambs PE13 2PS;

"You" and "Your" means the person, firm, corporation, organisation or public authority using this System;

System Access

From the Commencement Date, Anglia shall provide You and/or Your Business with access to its System on the basis of the terms and conditions in this Agreement.

You and/or Your Business acknowledge that the provision of the System may be interrupted from time to time as a result of technical difficulties outside of Anglia’s control. Anglia will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that any such interruptions are minimised and to mitigate their effects should they occur.

Anglia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to supply a quotation for a Part or communicate to You and/or Your Business.

Anglia may, without prejudice to its other rights or remedies, terminate this Agreement with immediate effect.

Use of Service

If you register for access and use Our System You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of passwords, login and account information.

You and/or Your Business agree not to post or publish your credentials and/or API key in any publicly accessible forum.

You and/or Your Business agree to comply with the IT Security Requirements under this agreement.

For the duration that there is an active integration between Your CRM System and the API, be responsible for the testing of the integration between the CRM System and the API to ensure the integrity of the data mapping and data being transmitted.

You and/or Your Business agree not to use Our API for any purpose that is unlawful, illegal or forbidden by these Terms & Conditions.

Anglia may, at its sole discretion, at any time and without advance notice or liability, suspend, terminate or restrict your access to all or any component of Our API.

You and/or Your Business agree not to host any content like datasheets or images from Our API on your own servers.

The specification data is supplied for search purposes only. Please refer to the product data sheet for full technical details.

You expressly agree that use of this System is at your own risk.

IT Security Requirements

To ensure transport level security You and/or Your Business agree to integrate with Our API over HTTPS.

Where data (including, without limitation, Customer Data) are held and processed electronically by either Party in connection with this Agreement, the relevant Party must take all reasonable endeavours to safeguard the data and ensure that their systems are appropriately secure.

The Parties shall, at all times, comply with all Data Protection Laws and neither Party shall knowingly cause the other Party to be in breach of the Data Protection Laws. Both Parties understand and acknowledge that each Party are (or may be) Data Controllers in relation to their respective obligations under this Agreement.

Privacy Policy

Usage of Our API and its performance is recorded including IP Addresses and activity.

Anglia's API does not react to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

General

Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions will be deemed to constitute either party as the agent or representative of the other party, or both parties as joint venturers or partners for any purpose. You may not assign, delegate or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms & Conditions. We may assign our rights and duties under these Terms & Conditions without such assignment being considered a change to the Terms & Conditions and without notice to You and/or Your Business.
